Acceptable Use Policy

These rules protect people, customers, and the Service. They apply to all use of Scopomap Arena, including content, simulations, exports, APIs, and attempts to access the Service.

1. Use Arena lawfully

You must not use the Service to:

  • break a law, court order, regulatory obligation, or another person's rights;
  • create, upload, or distribute unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, or malicious material;
  • facilitate violence, exploitation, trafficking, child sexual abuse, terrorism, or credible threats of harm;
  • harass, discriminate against, stalk, dox, intimidate, or target an identifiable person or protected group; or
  • evade sanctions, export controls, or legal restrictions that apply to you or the Service.

2. Protect personal and sensitive information

Unless Scopomap approves the use in writing, you must not:

  • submit sensitive information or personal information about an identifiable person;
  • attempt to identify or re-identify a person from synthetic, aggregated, de-identified, census, or location data;
  • build dossiers, scores, or behavioural profiles about identifiable people; or
  • use output to decide a person's employment, credit, insurance, housing, healthcare, education, legal rights, or access to essential services.

3. Represent simulations honestly

You must not:

  • present synthetic personas, statements, votes, or findings as responses from real residents;
  • claim an Arena run satisfies a legal or regulatory consultation requirement unless a qualified adviser confirms it;
  • fabricate evidence, testimony, endorsements, public submissions, or consensus;
  • publish synthetic content in a way likely to deceive people about its source; or
  • use Arena output as the sole basis for a high-impact public, commercial, safety, or planning decision.

4. Controlled stress-testing

Arena may be used in a controlled simulation to study opposition, rumours, misinformation, or other harmful narratives. Keep that work inside an authorised environment. Do not deploy generated narratives to deceive, manipulate, impersonate, or harm real people. Use the minimum realistic detail needed and restrict access to people involved in the approved work.

5. Protect the Service

You must not:

  • gain or attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data, models, or networks;
  • probe or test vulnerabilities without our prior written permission;
  • introduce malware, destructive code, or content designed to bypass safeguards;
  • overload, disrupt, scrape, or automate the Service outside documented interfaces and plan limits;
  • reverse engineer the Service except to the limited extent a law expressly permits it; or
  • share credentials, conceal usage, evade metering, or circumvent rate, token, seat, or access limits.

6. Enforcement

We may remove content or restrict affected access where reasonably necessary to investigate or stop a violation. We consider severity, intent, recurrence, and risk. Where practical, we will explain the action and allow you to respond or fix the issue. We may act immediately where needed to protect people, systems, or legal compliance.

Report suspected misuse or appeal an enforcement decision at info@scopomap.com.au.
